Biomedical Engineering SocietyWelcome to the University of Illinois student chapter of the Biomedical Engineering Society! As the full service professional society for Biomedical Engineering and Bioengineering, our goal is "To promote the increase of biomedical engineering knowledge and its utilization." Student members in BMES have many opportunities to learn about engineering and to meet fellow students with similar interests, including presentations on current information in research topics, academic programs, and career options; bioengineering projects for Engineering Open House; and numerous volunteer/outreach opportunities as well as social events."
Master of Engineering Management Information SessionThe Master of Engineering Management (M.E.M.) Program is a professional degree program offered by the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College. M.E.M. engineering and management courses are taught by faculty from the Thayer School and Tuck School of Business. All students enter the program with an undergraduate engineering degree. While at Dartmouth (the program length is 15 months), students will be exposed to typical first year MBA business classes while at the same time deepening their technical knowledge in engineering. For those who are considering broadening their work possibilities, or looking for an alternative to a M.S. degree please come to the information session and pizza in room 2240 in DCL on Tuesday, April 10th 2012, from 6:00pm - 7:00pm.
